Princess Feather border 3..done!

At last! I’m finally able to post a pic of border 3 done. The weather and my health (have had a virus of some kind) have prevented me from getting outside to take a pic. I finished the third border on Thursday. I have the vines appliqued to border 4 and am ready to start adding the birds and flowers. :)

If you’d like to see a larger pic…click on my Flickr album on the right. You can enlarge the pics there.

Thanks for the kind words! I’m trying to stay disciplined with this project and not set it aside while I start something new. ;)

Deb..I bought the starter kit which gives you a variety of fabrics for the feathers. You are supposed to add in other fabrics of your own. When my kit arrived I didn’t care for some of the fabrics, so I replaced them with others.

Holy Cow Woman! You have some gorgeous quilts here. I LOVE this quilt you’re working on — I can’t believe the speed with which you’re completing the borders! I’ve been working on an applique border, not nearly as detailed as yours for 15 years LOL!

  17. Martha says:

Oh Ann — it looks fabulous! The corners are beautifully done and look totally seamless. It’s the most gorgeous color palette and I cannot figure out how you complete these so quickly.
