I’ve finished the quilting on the quilt from the quilt top cup board that I posted on Dec.3, 2009. At that time I posted it as Robbing Peter to Pay Paul, but since found the same quilt listed as Squint Your Eyes.

This top was pin basted and I didn’t know how I’d like that because I use a big hoop to quilt with. I thought the pins might get in the way?
I just removed the pins as I went along and it worked out fine. Whoever did the pin basting did a great job of it. The backing and top were smooth and even with no puckers anywhere.
A couple of the blocks in the very center had been quilted. I removed that so I could use my own plan for quilting.

Once I got to the outer edges I could see that there was enough backing and batting there for me to add a border..so I did. It allowed me to make the quilt a bit bigger.
I love this quilt!

This turned out just wondefully! I really like the pattern!
I really love this quilt. I especailly love the hand quilting and curved piecing, that is not so easy to do, and you did a lovely job.
I love it too!
I like the quilt design and the fabrics! It’s nicely quilted too. ; )
Very nice!! I really like the bear quilt too and the quilting is perfect for it.
Both quilts are wonderful and lovely handquilting!!!
It reminds me of Autumn. A very warm and cozy quilt!
I love this quilt, too, such beautiful, rich shades of color! Once again, I am amazed at the number of hand quilted projects you are able to produce…you must quilt in your sleep
Thanks for sharing this, nice to see you finish one of your previous posts, fun to see the finished product.
This pattern is from my book “Miss Jump’s Memories” and is still available. I love it too. Linda B.
